First snowfall yesterday morning… I found myself saying ooooo, so pretty over and over again. Such a silly simple thing to say… But it was ooooo so pretty! This is a photo of the island across from me.

Ice becoming itself
crystal clusters

against the last light
too late, too late
we watch snow fall
through picture windows
candles and matches
within reach
should all else fail
